Mini Mozzarella is the Cheese Family’s enthusiastic little adventurer. Curious, energetic and usually moving slightly faster than everyone would prefer, Mini approaches the world as though something fascinating must be waiting just around the next corner.

Appearance
Mini is a small, pale creamy mozzarella wedge with a little curled tuft on top of his head, warm brown eyes and a wonderfully enthusiastic grin.
He wears a simple cream shirt, blue shorts and blue trainers.
His favourite feature is his magnificent deep-blue adventure cape, decorated with golden stars. When Mini races through the village with his arms stretched out like wings and the cape streaming behind him, he’s very difficult to miss.
Personality
Mini is adventurous, curious, imaginative and enormously enthusiastic.
He’s the sort of young cheese who wants to know what’s happening, why it’s happening and whether he can come too. Sometimes his enthusiasm gets ahead of his common sense. At the carnival he races ahead so eagerly that he trips over his own cape, and later he and Babybel board the Ferris wheel before the adults can stop them.
But Mini is more thoughtful than his energetic exterior suggests. When he learns why the Stilton Sisters have spent years resenting his family, he quietly understands that they believed they were taking revenge “for something we never did.”
And when things become frightening, Mini often finds courage through imagination. Stranded with Babybel at the top of the Ferris wheel, his solution is wonderfully Mini:

Family and friendships
Eddie Emmental and Clarabelle Cheddar are Mini’s parents. Monterey Jack Flash and Halloumi Belle are his older siblings, and Sir Blue Vein and Lady Brie are his grandparents.
Babybel is his younger sister and frequent partner in mischief. The two imitate dance judges, dream up routines, explore together and somehow turn even being stranded on a Ferris wheel into an opportunity to perform.
Mini also seems particularly good at understanding Babybel’s squeaks, often knowing exactly what his little sister is trying to say.
He adores Wensley too. When Wensley disappears at the carnival, Mini tries to tempt him home by offering to share his doughnut — possibly even two bites.
Stories featuring Mini Mozzarella
In Chutney and Champions, Mini enthusiastically follows the mystery surrounding the stolen recipe while cheering on the Disco Twins and dreaming of dance routines of his own.
In The Stilton Divide, his endless questions help uncover the family’s history, while his observations show that he’s beginning to understand that old arguments aren’t always as simple as they first appear.
In The Crumbly Carnival, Mini’s enthusiasm leads him and Babybel into games, adventures and an unexpectedly eventful Ferris-wheel ride.
Fun fact
Mini’s cape is excellent for adventures.
It is slightly less excellent for running without tripping over it.
