The Fruit Salad Olympics – Day Ten

Image Description:
A cheerful illustrated poster for the Fruit Salad Olympics. Set against a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds, the image shows four anthropomorphic fruits — a smiling strawberry, a happy pineapple, a cheerful blueberry, and a lively banana — all leaping joyfully with their arms raised. Above them, large cream-colored text clearly reads “FRUIT SALAD OLYMPICS” in bold block letters. Below the title are the five Olympic-style rings in blue, black, red, yellow, and green. The entire scene is flat and cartoonish in style, using clean lines, vivid colors, and a playful tone

The Fruit Salad Olympics – Day Ten: Pips, Paddles and Peelouts

After a few days of drama, mystery, and jam-stained ceilings, today was all about classic fruit sports. Fast feet, sharp reflexes, and pure pulpy precision were on full display.

Event One: Pip Pong Doubles
Held in the Citrus Dome, this high-speed doubles match had teams smacking pips across a jelly-coated table using waffle paddles. The pip? A perfectly polished cherry stone. The rules? Loosely followed.

Teams included:

* Berry Blast (Bluebell Blueberry & Ruby Raspberry)

* Team Medley (Gooseberry Gus & Olive)

* Citrus Surge (Lemon Lorna & Lime Lily)

* Team Tropical (Pineapple Pete & Mango Max)

Highlights:

* Ruby and Bluebell moved like a single berry organism, bouncing in sync.

* Gooseberry Gus attempted a trick serve, hit Olive in the eye. Still scored.

* Pineapple Pete lost a paddle mid-rally and continued using his leafy hair.

* Lemon Lorna shouted “ZEST ATTACK!” before every hit. No one knew why.

Gold: Berry Blast
Silver: Team Tropical
Bronze: Team Medley

Event Two: Kiwi Cartwheel Course
A new agility event with strong gym-class energy. Fruits had to cartwheel across banana peels, hop over giant lychee balls, and backflip off a jelly cube to finish.

Finalists:

* Kiwi Kim

* Banana B.A. Peel

* Clementine Chloe

* Figaro the Fig

Figaro began with dramatic flair but ended up stuck upside-down in a jelly block. Banana B.A. Peel delivered surprisingly graceful flips with loud whoops. But Kiwi Kim stole the show with five non-stop cartwheels and a backward pip-flip onto the podium.

Gold: Kiwi Kim
Silver: Banana B.A. Peel
Bronze: Clementine Chloe

Elsewhere at the Games:

* Granny Smith was overheard asking, “Why are they flipping around like that? Just walk like a normal apple.”

* Coconut Courier preview:
“Pips, Spins and Unexpected Grace: Kiwi Kim Bounces to Glory”

* No signs of the Rogue Raspberry today… but a small pip pong paddle was found with tiny letters etched into the handle:
“See you soon.”
