Image Description: A cheerful illustrated poster for the Fruit Salad Olympics. Set against a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds, the image shows four anthropomorphic fruits — a smiling strawberry, a happy pineapple, a cheerful blueberry, and a lively banana — all jumping with their arms raised in celebration. Above them, large text reads “Fruit Salad Olympics” in bold cream lettering. Below the title, five colorful rings (in blue, black, red, yellow, and green) overlap in a stylised nod to the Olympic symbol. The overall style is playful and cartoonish, with vibrant colours and a fun, energetic atmosphere.
Opening Ceremony
High above the swirling tropical winds, nestled in the crater of a peaceful volcano, lies the Grand Fruit Bowl Stadium — a dazzling arena carved from the rind of a giant melon. Every four years (or whenever it feels right), fruits from far and wide gather here, not to be eaten, but to compete.
Welcome to the Fruit Salad Olympics — where the fastest, bounciest, juiciest competitors battle it out in events unlike any other. Strength, skill, and silliness collide in glorious, slippery harmony.
Today, the games begin with a spectacular opening ceremony.
First came the marching band — a parade of dancing cherries beating coconut-shell drums and playing banana-peel trumpets. The beat pulsed through the crowd, sending waves of fruity excitement through every segment.
Then came the Parade of Teams:
* Team Tropical, led by Captain Pineapple
* Team Berry Blast, bouncing in unison
* Team Citrus Surge, glowing and zesty
* Team Orchard, marching with pear-shaped pride
* Team Melon Madness, rolling in style
As they waved their fruity flags, one lone avocado in the crowd shouted, “We’re technically fruit too!” before being handed a smoothie and asked to sit down.
Finally, Elder Mango — the oldest fruit in the land — climbed the Papaya Steps carrying the ceremonial torch: a roasted fig on a golden pineapple staff.
With a proud voice, he declared: “Let these games be juicy. Let them be fair. And may no one slip on a rogue banana peel.”
The torch was lit. A burst of passionfruit-scented fire shot into the sky as the crowd chanted in unison:
“Juicy and proud! Juicy and loud!”
And with that, the Fruit Salad Olympics officially began.
