Image Description: A cheerful illustrated poster for the Fruit Salad Olympics. Set against a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds, the image shows four anthropomorphic fruits — a smiling strawberry, a happy pineapple, a cheerful blueberry, and a lively banana — all jumping with their arms raised in celebration. Above them, large text reads “Fruit Salad Olympics” in bold cream lettering. Below the title, five colorful rings (in blue, black, red, yellow, and green) overlap in a stylised nod to the Olympic symbol. The overall style is playful and cartoonish, with vibrant colours and a fun, energetic atmosphere.
DAy One
The Fruit Bowl Stadium burst into fruity cheers today as the first official events of the Fruit Salad Olympics got underway.
Event One: Banana-Peel Hurdles Held on the Slippery Sprint Track, this high-speed event saw some spectacular sprints and even more spectacular wipeouts.
Contestants included Barry the Blueberry, Lola Lemon, Tango the Tangerine, and Plantain Pete. Barry zipped ahead with lightning speed but slipped on peel number three and landed in a foam pie. Tango stopped mid-run to wave at a drone. Lola leapt each hurdle like a lemony gazelle and crossed the finish line in style, taking gold. Plantain Pete crashed through most of the hurdles but somehow still managed bronze.

Event Two: Grape Trampoline Gymnastics In the Bouncy Bowl arena, four fruity gymnasts bounced their way through flips, splits, and surprising acrobatics. Ruby Grape impressed with a spinning splat-landing. Cantaloupe Carla twirled gracefully. Sassy Satsuma was fiery and flexible. But it was Figaro the Fig who stole the show with a twelve-split mid-air display followed by a dramatic bow.

Post-event interviews:
“Lola, how did you manage to avoid slipping?” “With a little zest and a lot of grip,” she grinned.
And from the ever-theatrical Figaro: “Gymnastics is an art. And I am ripe for it.”
