The Fruit Salad Olympics – Day Four

Image Description:
A cheerful illustrated poster for the Fruit Salad Olympics. Set against a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds, the image shows four anthropomorphic fruits — a smiling strawberry, a happy pineapple, a cheerful blueberry, and a lively banana — all leaping joyfully with their arms raised. Above them, large cream-colored text clearly reads “FRUIT SALAD OLYMPICS” in bold block letters. Below the title are the five Olympic-style rings in blue, black, red, yellow, and green.

The entire scene is flat and cartoonish in style, using clean lines, vivid colours, and a playful tone.

The Fruit Salad Olympics – Day Four: Crashes, Crushes and Questions

The Fruit Bowl Stadium buzzed with chatter today — not just about the medals, but whispers of sabotage, romance, and one very suspicious raspberry.

Event One: Pineapple Discus
Held on the Zesty Fields, competitors hurled flattened pineapple rings as far as they could without slicing a judge.

Contestants included Mango Max, Granny Smith, Clementine Chloe, and Rogue Raspberry (still under review, but cleared to compete — for now).

Mango Max spun with flair, hurling his discus into the juice bar queue. Granny Smith, cool and focused, lobbed hers with a satisfying thud just shy of the 30-metre marker.

But Rogue Raspberry? He launched his discus with such force it ricocheted off the scoreboard, spelling out the word “ERROR.”

Coach Kiwi was seen shaking his head.

Gold: Rogue Raspberry
Silver: Granny Smith
Bronze: Clementine Chloe

Event Two: Passionfruit Pairs Dance
In the Smoothie Ballroom, fruit couples performed choreographed routines across a jellied dance floor.

Standout duos included:

* Ruby Raspberry & Bluebell Blueberry (Berry Blast’s dream team)

* Papaya Paula & Pineapple Pete (Team Tropical’s unlikely romance)

* Sassy Satsuma (dancing solo after her partner slipped on a mint leaf — but still stormed it)

But it was Papaya Paula and Pineapple Pete who stole hearts. Their spicy salsa had judges weeping into their juicers.

Gold: Papaya Paula & Pineapple Pete
Silver: Ruby & Bluebell
Bronze: Sassy Satsuma (solo entry)

Off the Field:

* Rumours swirl that Rogue Raspberry’s “genetic purity check” has been escalated after footage of him adjusting his stem revealed a metallic glint.

* Bluebell Blueberry was heard whispering, “I don’t trust anyone that perfect.”

* Meanwhile, Pineapple Pete and Papaya Paula were spotted holding hands near the melon coolers. When asked, Pete simply said: “She’s the papaya to my pineapple”
